How is the Falcone Center different?
The majority of the medical visits in the United States involve the care of chronic medical conditions and one in three Americans suffers from a chronic medical condition. Conventional medicine is often focused on reducing the symptoms of disease but has limited success addressing the underlying cause.
At the Falcone Center, Dr. Falcone takes a functional medicine approach when treating all of her patients. You may visit to discuss liposuction but she will look at your medical history and develop a treatment plan that could involve weight loss, hormone therapy, nutrition, or exercise. It is very common that patients visit with one concern but leave feeling heard and understood with a comprehensive plan for personal improvement. As a Functional Medicine doctor, Dr. Falcone is trained to look at patterns of behavior, toxins, exposures, psychosocial stressors, metabolic disorders, genetic, immunologic, and nutritional factors that can place someone at risk.
At the Falcone Center, we treat the whole person rather than segmented areas. The goal is to get to the root cause of issues by looking at all factors in an attempt to restore balance, health, and vitality. It is Dr. Falcone’s extensive knowledge and training that allows her to truly make patient’s look and feel better. To learn more about Dr. Victoria Falcone, Click Here.
Some patients seek functional medical evaluation because they desire an individualized approach to the treatment of their issues. They want to heal themselves in a way that is not offered by their conventional medical doctor. Others have failed to improve with conventional medicine or still don’t have a clear understanding of what led them down their current path. Whether you want to restore a more youthful look or restore the vitality you had in your youth, the Falcone Center is the place to visit.
At the Falcone Center, we listen to everything that may have contributed to your body’s current state. Then we start peeling away the layers to restore you back to a path of health and wellness.
How do I become a patient of the Falcone Center?
Call and speak to our office staff and they will direct you on the procedures to become a new patient. You can print and complete our new patient forms prior to your appointment. The more we know about you, the more we can help. We recommend that you bring copies of any relevant recent bloodwork to your appointment.
Office procedures will be discussed when you call us at (215) 586-3304.
What happens on the first visit?
Before your initial visit, please print and fill out a New Patient Paperwork Forms. The paperwork can be quite involved depending on the condition for which you are requesting treatment.
If the patient is a child, we request that two adults attend the appointment with the child. One adult will focus on the appointment with the doctor and the other will attend to the needs of the child. Bring a notebook or paper so that you may take notes during the visit. If you request a report to be generated, our fee scheduled would be utilized for the time spent generating the report.
Initial appointments can last between 30 and 60 minutes. Please allow adequate time.
When you leave the office, you may be given a “to do” list including action items such as necessary treatments, prescriptions, lab requisition forms, and test kits. It is advised that you complete lab tests as soon as possible. Tests can take anywhere from 2 days to four weeks for results. You will call to schedule your follow-up appointment after you have completed the initial testing or treatment protocol and are ready for your next evaluation and treatment planning session.
Will the doctor at the Falcone Center be our primary doctor or pediatrician?
At the Falcone Center, our doctors and clinicians are considered specialists. It is important that each patient have a primary care physician to cover acute medical issues and general medical care.
Does the Falcone Center accept insurance?
We are unable to accept insurance and are considered an “out-of-network” provider. We can provide you with a receipt that you can submit to attempt reimbursement, but it is the responsibility of the patient to call the insurance company in advance to determine requirements for “out-of-network” reimbursement. There is no guarantee that the insurance company will reimburse you for any of our treatments.
