Before your first treatment, your platelet count may be tested. Based on your platelet numbers, we will adjust the amount of blood drawn and the concentration of your PRP. Some practices do one blood draw of 60cc of blood for the P shot and then spin the blood through a simple centrifuge. This often yield 1-1.5x concentration of platelet which is way too low for the P-shot.
At the Falcone Center, we know difference in quality and we will draw up to 240cc of blood. This allows us to adjust the volume, concentration and quality of PRP delivered up to 5x concentration and 20cc of volume.

Once the PRP is ready, a numbing agent is used to provide pain relief. The PRP is then injected into the penis and as a result, the stimulation of new tissue growth begins. What To Expect
