The P-Shot®, also known as the Priapus Shot®, is a male enhancement procedure. The shot is named after Priapus, the Greek God of fertility and male genitalia. The P-Shot® is used to improve penile functions and help men who commonly experience erectile dysfunction (ED). Men who have issues such as ED that cannot be effectively treated via other methods may be well-qualified candidates for the P-Shot®. The shot is also effective in treating Peyronie’s Disease.

Peyronie’s Disease occurs when scar tissue called plaque builds up inside the penis. This buildup of scar tissue results in an erect penis that is crooked. The bent erection may cause pain to the man while they are having intercourse. Undergoing a P-Shot® treatment can improve sexual feelings and performance in men. The P-Shot® can give a man a stronger and longer erection. It can help increase feelings of sensitivity to the penis during intercourse. The treatment can expand the length and thickness of the penis as well.

Benefits of the P-Shot®

There are many benefits to the P-Shot®. The first benefit is that the procedure causes minimal discomfort. A patient’s own platelets are used in the process. Blood is withdrawn from the patient and then put in a centrifuge. Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) is then created from the patient’s blood.

At the Falcone Center we use the Magellan TruPRP and Emcyte Dual-Spin centrifuge systems. We want to ensure that our PRP is of the highest quality and have made the investment to have two high quality PRP systems in our offices.

Before your first treatment, your platelet count may be tested. Based on your platelet numbers, we will adjust the amount of blood drawn and the concentration of your PRP. Some practices do one blood draw of 60cc of blood for the P shot and then spin the blood through a simple centrifuge. This often yield 1-1.5x concentration of platelet which is way too low for the P-shot.

At the Falcone Center, we know difference in quality and we will draw up to 240cc of blood. This allows us to adjust the volume, concentration and quality of PRP delivered up to 5x concentration and 20cc of volume.

We want to ensure therapeutic concentrations of PRP for our patients. This is quality control found only at a few practices in the country.  When you invest in PRP treatment at the Falcone Center, we want to give you with the best treatment possible. We are committed to your success!

Once the PRP is ready, a numbing agent is used to provide pain relief. The PRP is then injected into the penis and as a result, the stimulation of new tissue growth begins. Since the PRP is coming from the person’s own body, there are fewer chances for adverse or allergic reactions to be experienced. There are no additives or chemicals in the shot, just your own blood. Another benefit of the P-Shot® is that it promotes healthy organ function. The treatment naturally increases the circulation in the penis, and this results in increased feelings of pleasure. It also gives the patient a boost of self-confidence because it can increase the size of the penis.

What To Expect

The P-Shot® is a straightforward process. A highly trained specialist at Falcone Center will go over the treatment steps in detail with you. The auxiliary staff will be readily accessible and available to you before and after the procedure. It takes a few weeks for the treatment to show results, and we recommend that you use a penis pump for at least six weeks after the procedure. A penis pump will be provided to you at your first treatment so no need to worry about purchasing one on your own.
