Use Your Body’s Own Healing Power with Platelet Rich Plasma Treatment

Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) was originally used in the mid-1990s to help promote healing after orthopedic injuries and cosmetic surgery. Only recently have the benefits of using the body’s own growth factors contained in platelet-rich plasma been recognized and used to improve wrinkles, scars, hair quality, and rejuvenate blood flow in tissues.

The procedure involves drawing a small amount of blood and then placing it into a special centrifuge, allowing the platelets and the plasma to be concentrated into an injectable form.

In the blood, platelets are responsible for clotting, coagulation, and healing but also contain powerful growth factors that trigger the body to regenerate and repair body tissues. The platelet-rich plasma cells are responsible for traveling to and healing any place in the body that needs repair. Since these cells are your own, they can be applied anywhere on your body for countless treatments.

This process can reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and folds as well as areas of collagen loss. It can also increase blood flow to areas such as the hair follicles, penis, and clitoris aiding in restoring vitality to the tissues.

The treatment typically requires one to three sessions approximately 12 weeks apart depending on the area of the body and issues being addressed. The repair process begins around 3 weeks after injection and can take anywhere from weeks to months to show full effect. It is a continuous process that improves over time and is long-lasting.

There is also nearly no risk of complications as you are being injected with products from your own body.

Our Experience, Training and Equipment Make a Difference

To achieve the best possible results, you need an experienced professional who can help guide you to the most promising treatment method and skillfully apply their experience to that specific treatment.

Dr. Victoria Falcone trained with Dr. Charles Runels, creator of the Vampire® procedures, to learn his techniques. Only members of Dr. Runels Vampire O-ShotVampire Priapus Shot, and Vampire Facelift groups know how to perform the procedure and own the license to use the procedure names.

At the Falcone Center we only use the FDA approved TruePRP dual spin centrifuge for processing or our PRP. This is a closed system to ensure there is no contamination to your PRP.

TruPRP

The Magellan® technology provides an automated dual spin processing system that can deliver (PRP) platelet-rich plasma as well as (PPP) platelet-poor plasma in a closed, safe system. The system can process blood and bone marrow at variable concentrations customizing the treatment to each patient and body area.

We will draw and process your blood in the same room so you can watch your blood be transformed into PRP and PPP.

There is a difference! Some single spin centrifuges when tested in a clinical settings, have been shown to deliver low quality PRP. At the Falcone Center we made the investment to ensure we deliver consistent high quality PRP at every treatment with the Magellan TruePRP device.

PRP for Hair Restoration

PRP treatment for hair regrowth and quality improvement is a safe and quick in-office procedure*. We will draw your blood and place it into the TruePRP device for processing. Then we prepare the scalp with a numbing agent in the area where hair growth is the weakest. Once ready, we inject PRP into the scalp.  We will also infuse growth factors and platelet-poor plasma  into the surface skin of the scalp with the SkinPen micro-needling device . The combination of PRP under the skin and PPP on the scalp allows for enhanced regenerative capacity. We will also provide recommendations for some addition supplements and products that can aid in your hair rejuvenation.
