Body Jet Liposuction – Water Assisted Liposuction (WAL)

A transformative technique for liposuction that gently dislodges fat cells from surrounding connective tissue using pulses of anesthetic fluid. The unwanted fat is then gently suctioned out. This technique also removes fat in a way that it can be transferred to other parts of the body such as the face, hands, or buttocks. The fat transfer procedure can be performed the same day as the Body Jet Liposuction. Most doctors performing liposuction in Philadelphia use a wet technique that swells the area to be liposuctioned. Body Jet (WAL) constantly adds and removes the fluid during the procedure, so Dr. Falcone is better able to see the new contour as she creates it. This is the preferred technique for removal of fat from all leg regions and the buttocks. It is also the indicated treatment for Lipedema treatment.

SmartLipo™

Utilizing a unique laser that both liquefies fat cells and tightens skin without the trauma associated with traditional liposuction, SmartLipo™ is performed under local anesthesia while the patient is awake, does not require stitches, has minimal bruising and minimal-to-no downtime. This procedure is ideal for smaller areas of concentrated fat and can be used on all body areas including the abdomen, back, legs, arms, and neck. SmartLipo™ is ideal for patients who are in good health and within 25 pounds of their ideal weight, have one or more body areas of local fat deposits where exercise and/or diet has had little or no effect, and are motivated to rid themselves of these fatty areas.

Lipedema Treatment
Lipedema is a complex disorder involving inflammatory fat distributed primarily in the arms, legs and buttocks. Dr. Falcone has treated patients suffering from Lipedema for over 15 years using Water Assisted Liposuction.
