Cellulite is one of the most challenging cosmetic problems to correct. Although women are more likely to have cellulite, men can have it as well. Unlike other types of fat, cellulite is not necessarily related to being overweight, although being close to your ideal weight may reduce the amount of cellulite on your body. Located in Bala Cynwyd and serving Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Maple Shade, New Jersey, and the surrounding area, The Falcone Center for Functional and Cosmetic Medicine offers safe and effective cellulite treatments to men and women.
What is Cellulite Treatment?
The dimpled skin and “orange peel” appearance of cellulite is caused by small amounts of fat poking through the connective tissue of your skin. Liposuction does not help with cellulite because the procedure is only appropriate for deeper layers of fat. The fat associated with cellulite is closer to the surface of your skin. Dr. Victoria Falcone offers four unique treatments that specifically target cellulite — SculpSure™, VASERsmooth™, Cellulaze™ and PrecisionTx™.
Benefits of Cellulite Treatment
Cellulite occurs when the connective tissue of your skin hardens. With reduced flexibility in the connective tissue, fat begins to poke through the connective strands. Cellulite treatment releases the connective tissue and eliminates the enlarged fat deposits. The treatments are minimally-invasive and give our patients long-lasting results*.

Preparing for Cellulite Treatment
Our cellulite treatments are minimally-invasive treatments that require only local anesthesia. You may want to arrange for someone to bring you to your appointment, though. Additionally, Dr. Falcone may recommend certain lifestyle changes to reduce your cellulite with other methods prior to cellulite treatment.
Cellulite Treatment Recovery
Dr. Falcone may wrap a compression bandage around the treatment area to stabilize the tissues during healing. You may have some mild discomfort, bruising, tenderness and swelling after your cellulite treatment. In most cases, non-prescription pain medications and ice packs are adequate to manage the symptoms. After approximately three days, you may return to work, but you may need to avoid exercise and other strenuous activities for about two weeks*.
How Much Does Cellulite Treatment Cost?
Dr. Falcone takes great pride in developing personalized treatments for her patients. As such, the cost of cellulite treatment is different for each patient. We accept major credit cards for the cost of your cellulite treatment. Visit our financing page to learn about CareCredit®, and you can even use the online calculator to determine your monthly payment.
Is Cellulite Treatment Right for Me?
Anyone is at risk of developing cellulite, even those who are healthy, active and at their ideal body weight. Dr. Falcone may recommend some lifestyle changes to help reduce your cellulite, including weight loss, drinking more water, exercise and proper nutrition, before recommending cellulite treatment.
